Two full-time positions avaliable
MHT RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Ensure continual delivery of high-quality nursing care
- Adopt innovative nursing practices to improve our facility
- Take vital signs
- Monitor patients’ level of mental alertness and functioning
- Maintain a healthy, collaborative team environment
- Help patients with personal hygiene activities such as bathing and getting dressed
- Provide direct care to patients, which includes facilitating social and emotional needs and evaluating patient progress
- Provide direct patient care, guidance and positive role modeling
- Provide social support for patients by creating and encouraging patients to take advantage of opportunities such as support groups, social activities and other therapeutic measures, as well as participating with patients where appropriate
- Use of mechanical and technical equipment required for the responsibilities assigned
- Ability to think and work effectively under stress with frequent interruptions; to move, sit, stand, walk and bend intermittently throughout the work day, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds MHT
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current CNA License in the state of Georgia
- 2 plus years’ psych experience preferred
- Current ACLS preferred
