Summer is for relaxing by the pool, spending the day at the beach or enjoying your boat on the lake. But sunburns can put a damper on that.

Severe sunburns may cause a person to become dehydrated and even go into shock. This is characterized by fainting, low blood pressure, and profound weakness. Immediate medical attention is necessary if this happens.
